We recommend your child brings a refillable water bottle, a small notebook for taking notes, and any personal items she may need throughout the day (e.g., hair accessories, snacks if preferred). All other materials will be provided.

Lunch will only be provided on the last day, and it will be pizza. Snacks will be available on all other days.

Each day runs from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM and includes a mix of hands-on activities, group discussions, and guided learning sessions. There will be breaks for snacks, lunch, and fun wellness activities.

This program is designed to build your child’s confidence and self-esteem while teaching valuable life skills like hair care, self-expression, mindfulness, and physical wellness. My goal is for every participant to leave feeling empowered and ready to embrace her individuality.

Hair Heroes is ideal for girls ages 10–14. The content and activities are tailored to this age group, ensuring they are age-appropriate and engaging.

The program is led by me, Angela Gibson. I will personally supervise every day and every activity. Additionally, there will be volunteers assisting during each segment. Each segment will be led by a specialist in their field, and all specialists run their own businesses, bringing a wealth of expertise to the program.

To help foster independence and connection among the participants, this is a drop-off program. Rest assured, your child will be in excellent hands, and we’ll share photos and updates so you can see what she’s been up to!

That’s perfectly fine! This program is designed to be welcoming and inclusive for all girls, whether they’re new to these topics or already have some experience. Our goal is to meet each participant where she is and help her grow.
